From I-17 at Cordes Junction east across Agua Fria National Monument into the Tonto, dropping to Sheep Bridge on the Verde River. Graded early, rocky and steep in the last descent to the river. Hot springs and dispersed river camping at the bridge; pair with the Seven Springs road (FR 24) for a loop back to Cave Creek. Dead-end at the river for anything but foot traffic. October–April.
