The old stage road from Lake Pleasant through the Hieroglyphic Mountains past the Castle Hot Springs resort to Wickenburg. Graded, some washboard and sandy washes, a few water crossings after rain. Dispersed camping on the BLM side and developed sites at Lake Pleasant. An hour from north Phoenix, the easiest first dirt overnight in the valley.
