Climbs from Pleasant Valley up onto the Rim through ponderosa to SR 260 near Heber. Graded forest road, easy, cool. Links the Desert to Tall Pines route with the Rim Road (FR 300) for a two-day loop from the Valley: Roosevelt → Young → Heber → Rim Road → Payson. Closed by snow in winter.
