Graded border-country road from Arivaca past the Ruby ghost town (private, tours by arrangement) and Sycamore Canyon to Peña Blanca Lake and I-19. Rolling oak grassland at 4,000 ft, washboard and a couple of rocky dips. White Rock campground at the lake. Heavy Border Patrol presence; carry ID. Best October–April.
