BLM OHV area 35 minutes north of Phoenix off I-17, with everything from graded two-track to rock-crawl trails on the mesas above the Agua Fria. The place to test a new build, new tires or new luggage before a real trip. Heavy weekend traffic; weekdays are quiet. Free, no permit, dispersed camping allowed.
